The virtual German Air Force (vGAF) is better known as the mighty German LUFTWAFFE. Primarily operating within german airspace with the latest aircraft as provided in real life. The focus is to maintain a high standard and qualifications for the virtual pilots. We offer our pilots a suite to fully develop themselves and gather knowledge that is far more advanced than you can gather anywhere else. If you are looking for professionalism, this is your call.

Our Squadrons

The virtual German Air Force consists of 7 unique Squadrons, 4 of them are used for daily operations.

TaktLwG 73

Eurofightersquadron "Steinhoff"

The TaktLwG 73 is the training base for all eurofighter pilots in the vGAF. The squadron is responsible for the training of new pilots and the further training of experienced pilots. It is not a squadron used for advanced flying, it is only used for training.

TaktLwG 51

Tornadosquadron "Immelmann"

The tacitcal squadron 51 is using the PA-200 Tornado in the ECR/RECCE-Version and therefore primarily tasked with Reconnaissance Missions, but is also capable in the role of Anti-Ship-Strikes.

TaktLwG 31

Eurofightersquadron "Boelcke"

The main task of the tactical squadron 31 "Boelcke“ is the perfection of Air-Combat-Maneuvers in Combat-Air-Patrol-Scenarios and possibility of Ground-Attack-modes for the multiroleaircraft, the eurofighter is.

TaktLwG 74

Eurofightersquadron "Neuburg"

The main task of the tactical squadron 74 is the securing of southern parts of the virtual german airspace (QRA) and flying escort for other deployed vGAF-Assets to counter and defend aggressive/offensive elements intruders.

LTG 62

Airtransportsquadron 62 "Wunstorf"

The Lufttransportgeschwader 62 conducts logistical support and tactical transportation, as well as MedEvac´s and Air-to-Air-Refuelings. Types used: A400M, C130, C160.

FlBschftBMVg

Flugbereitschaft

The Flugbereitschaft conducts VIP-, Troop- and Materialtransport worldwide. Types used: A350, A340, A319, A321, GLEX, GL5T, AS532 The airplanes are stationed in Cologne EDDK and Berlin-Brandenburg EDDB, with the AS532 Helicopters stationed at Berlin-Tegel ETNB.

HSG 64

Helicoptersquadron

The Helicoptersquadron 64 uses CH-53 GA/GS/GE and H145M LUH SOF. Training is conducted in Bückeburg, near Hannover. The Squadron itself is based at Holzdorf ETSH and Laupheim ETHL. The IHTC is based at Bückeburg ETHB.
